XBridge converts between the two standards that most FHIR interop pain lives between: FHIR R4 and HL7v2 (X12-style segment data). It has two jobs:
- Converter — paste a FHIR R4 resource (JSON) or an HL7v2 message, get the other side back. Built for the messy middle: which fields map, which don’t, and what gets lost.
- Companion Guide validator — take your data and an HL7 FHIR Companion Guide, and see where your resources disagree with the guide’s cardinality, binding, and profile expectations.
XBridge is a testing and learning tool. It works on synthetic / sample data, is provided as-is, and is not certified for any standard or production use. Validate your mappings against your own rules and a qualified review before relying on them.
